Not sure what to say?

Dear Elise, Greg and I have such fond memories of Don! He was an unpretentious man of extraordinary intelligence, ingenuity, and kindness. We consider ourselves lucky to have known him, and we know that he´ll always be remembered with love and respect. Please give our love to Maureen and the extended family. With much love, Desi and Greg Padgett Silverthorne, Colorado

I was saddened to hear from Donald’s daughter Maureen that he had passed. A good portion of my sadness stems from not staying more in contact with him over the years, and letting ‘life’ get in the way of engaging old friends. This is a major reason why I believe it is imperative for me to leave a record of the powerful impact this man had on my life.

I can’t recall the exact yearperhaps late 1975 or early 1976when Don began teaching at the University of Nevada, Reno, Electrical...

Elise, I'm so sorry! I just heard about Don and am shocked and saddened! He was a great man and a hilarious contribution to my life at one time. My prayers are with you, seriously.

A good friend and loved by everyone who knew him

Childhood school buddies remain precious friends and memories. RIP, Donald.

I was so very sorry to hear from Donna Nicolino Johnson about Don's passing. Don and I go back to childhood. Our mothers were both active in the United Methodist Women activities, and they took their kids to the church with them. His brother Lowell was in my sister's class of 1958. It was always fun to visit with Don at class reunions. My condolences go out to his family.

My sincere condolences to Don's family. I enjoyed talking with Don every Christmas when he would come into our shop and have us print his Christmas letters.

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Fronek, and all of the families involved. I am a classmate of Don's!

Don, (RIP) my dear brother. I'll be listening on the radio.

Sincerely;

My most sincere condolences to Don's family and friends there in Blairsville! Dr Fronek was one of my most favorite professors while in Engineering school at UAH in the mid-70's. He was our professor but also our friend! Very intelligent, and yes he also taught with humor, which made it all better! He was a favorite with any students who had him due to his intense interest in his students and helping them along the way! He will 'live on' in the memories of all who knew him!
