Not sure what to say?

This is such sad news. I met Don through my tent show Big Top Chautauqua and was invited to Funk's Lodge where for years I stayed in the cabin a little ways from the lodge... he loved music and all the memories flood into me. so sorry for his family members.

Abby, my heart and soul go out to you and his whole family. He was such a great man, and so kind to many people who loved him. May Donald Rest In Peace. Jeannie Tremblay

I had them honor of working for Don Funk several extended period of years during my career in the seed industry. He treated me with great respect and I can honestly say it was truly fun and memorable for my entire family. His legacy will always live in in the lives of those of us who knew him best. The best always to his family. Kevin Wiley

I was deeply saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was not just my father's employer, but a great friend to both my parents, Kay and Deno Dallaguarda. He was a frequent visitor to their Lake Gogebic home and spoke eloquently and sincerely at both of their funerals. I have never forgotten that. The number of people whose life he touched cannot be overestimated. He will be truly missed. My thoughts go out to his family.

Our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the Funk family. What a man! He will be remembered. The Holzmair & Schoenecker families from Munich

My wife Janet and I will forever remember Don Funk with gratitude, whom I worked for and respected in numerous ways for many years in the seed industry. His well known generosity included significant contributions to the college education of the kids of employees who worked for him. The best always to his family. Kevin Wiley
