Dear Donna and Joan: So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I worked with him for many years through Empire Mutual Insurance Group and BBA Insurance. I always enjoyed speaking with him, he was so personable! How lucky you both are to have had him as long as you did, although parents could be 120 years old we are never really ready to let them go. My Condolences to his Family. I went to school with his kids and was in the same classes with his late son Donald Jr. for years at P.S. 50 and I.S. 24. I only met him a handful of times because he was busy businessman but I was invited into his house many times by his late wife and son and fed on numerous occasions. Growing up in Oakwood in those days was idyllic and people shared whatever bounties they had. He will join his wife and my childhood friend now to Rest In Peace. Semper Fidelis.
