Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. G. - doesn't seem like it's been ten years already - at this rate we'll be seeing you sooner than later - that would be for those of us who make it to Heaven - just hoping God has as much patience, tolerance, and forgiveness as all that you showered upon us, most of the time probably not deservedly so. You were the best - hope to catch up with you some day and tell you in person what a great job you did not only as a principal but also as a human being ! Love You, Man ! I think I can...

Always in our hearts and prayers! We were blest to have him as our principal. He was in my church and in my life forever. He lives on in his boys. Christine Gould Harper, BHS `65

Think of dear Mr GEER so many times even as a senior now myself. He taught me so much and cared about me way beyond his job. Thank you and be at well earned peace. Christine Gould Harper

Forever grateful for all he was and did for me as a student and friend in childhood and adulthood. Christine Gould Harper, Belchertown

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Don was a wonderful man. He married my Grandmother in 92. And, gave her the happiest moments the rest of her life. I always loved and respected him for that. Although, I have not seen him in years I remember him fondly. I would love to attend his service. I can be reached @ 413-429-5495. If someone could call me & let me know when. I would appreciate it. Thank you- Randi Guri Disbrow

Mr Geer was my principal for the 12 years I attended the Belchertown Schools. I remember him as a very patient and understanding person. I never forgot him for who he was. RIP.

I used to babysit for the boys.
When I was in junior high, I would head right for the principal's office and we would discuss the results of the Red Sox game from the previous day.
He was a wonderful educator and a great guy!

So sorry for your loss.

I'll always remember Mr G. for the level headed guy who always kept his cool, no matter how hard we pushed his buttons. I only remember one time during graduation rehearsal when Glen & I pushed him a little too far and thought he was going to blow a couple of brain cells - not that we didn't deserve the wrath. Even so, he only threatened us with not being able to go to graduation. In retrospect, if I was in his place, it would have gone much harder on the two impudent jokesters. I always...
