            Donald Gene Keach, 90, of Baskett, Kentucky, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017.


            Donnie attended Community Baptist Church until his health declined.  He was lovingly cared for at home by his son, Rocky, daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Rick Baxter, and granddaughter, Kim Lear.


            He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mildred McCommac Keach; one grandson, Joshua Thomas Keach; his parents, Thomas and Ida Keach; one sister; and three brothers.


            Survivors include one daughter, Jane Keach Baxter and her husband, Rick, of Newburgh, Indiana; four sons, Donald G. Keach, II, and his wife, Jean O’Daniel, of Lexington, Kentucky, Richard Keach (Sybil) and Rocky Keach, both of Baskett, Kentucky, and Randall Keach of Evansville, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Ty Baxter, Ryan Baxter, Erin Krynen, Michael Keach, Lauren Keach, Kim Lear, Kyle Keach, and Ashley Keach; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt Lear, Kinley Lear, Madison Keach, Wren Krynen, and Elodie Krynen; Additional survivors include his sister-in-law, Nina Hall and her husband, Doris; his brother-in-law, Norman Cox and his wife, Dolly; as well as many nieces and nephews.


            Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Dr. Tim Hobbs will officiate.  Burial will be in Baskett Cemetery with full military rites.


            Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.


            Contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church.


            Pallbearers will be Rick Baxter, Ty Baxter, Ryan Baxter, Michael Keach, Richard Keach, and Rocky Keach.
