I had the pleasure to work with and be Zinger's friend for over 25 years. Don wasn't a complicated man, what you saw is what you got. He always had a smile on his face, was always friendly and wanted to do the very best job he could. His memory was truly amazing. If he met you once he would remember your name and any facts you told him forever. He never forgot your birthday. Don could tell you any stat from about any era of Cardinals baseball. Numbers? Don was a walking calculator!...
