God's Speed dear Don. What a package he was; a kind gentle giant with a bellowing voice, committed to his wrestlers and a great sense of humor. We met in the mid 1960's and I enjoyed knowing him throughout all these wonderful years. Thank God there are coaches like Don.

Mr. Gohn set the tone for Chad and I with our athelic careers when we were in middle school with him at Sparta. He was tough, fair and always expected to see the best out of us. He was a great man! I wish they still made them like him. Rest in peace Mr. Gohn

I worked with Don at Peet Packing for a few summers many years ago - then Coached wrestling against him for many years - when he was at Sparta and I was at Jenison - so sorry to hear of his passing, he was a great guy.
