Not sure what to say?

I loved this guy like the Brother he was. Miss him every day All honor to his name.

Donnie was a life long friend! The world is a sadder place without him!

I have known about Don's passing since 11-20 but really did not know how to express my feelings about this wonderful man. I first met Don in the very early '60's at the Sigma Chi fraternity at OSU in Stillwater, OK. I instantly respected this man and he became one of my best friends in life. Even though we never lived close we visited each other many times and spoke often, especially on each other's birthday and of course, on Veterans Day as we both served in Vietnam. i can truly say that...

May God bless Raelene and the Griffin family in this time of sorrow. Don was a officer and gentleman, he was a kind and humble man who put everyone ahead of him self. He was a good friend to all who knew him. God bless Don on his final flight west !! Norm Reagan National, Pan Am, Delta

Farewell to a longtime colleague and friend. Don was a great guy and will certainly be missed by all who knew him. Don, Bill Mauldin and myself were the second crew to leave Pan Am to train and be hired together at Delta Air Lines in 1991. In addition to the many cockpits we shared we also had many great times at New York´s infamous "Animal House" commuter pad. A nicer man you could never meet. My condolences to his family at this tough time. Marshall Burnette National, Pan Am, Delta

How can anyone find the words to say what is so very difficult to say? To have to bid goodbye and God´s Speed to one of the most liked and trusted people on Earth isn´t easy. Those of us who knew Don always saw him as a happy and wonderful friend who always seemed to think more of us than himself. He had a great time serving his Country as a fighter pilot, then went on to fly the airline´s big ones. And everyone who came in contact with him just loved being around such an amiable and...

Donny was my my best man at my wedding in 1959 and was a class mate at Hominy High School. Many prayers and love to the family during this time.
