I have known about Don's passing since 11-20 but really did not know how to express my feelings about this wonderful man. I first met Don in the very early '60's at the Sigma Chi fraternity at OSU in Stillwater, OK. I instantly respected this man and he became one of my best friends in life. Farewell to a longtime colleague and friend. Don was a great guy and will certainly be missed by all who knew him. Don, Bill Mauldin and myself were the second crew to leave Pan Am to train and be hired together at Delta Air Lines in 1991. In addition to the many cockpits we shared we also had many great times at New York´s infamous "Animal House" commuter pad. A nicer man you could never meet.
