Not sure what to say?

I knew Don since the early 1980's, when he and his buddy Dave would come into Pete's Bar, and the Homestead Restaurant. He was a great guy who always wanted to make sure my family was doing well. I am so glad I went to visit him at his house last month. I hope he made the trip to North Carolina his nephew had planned.

Don was a good man who the Lord will welcome.

I've known Don since 1939 in John Gorrie Junior High School. We graduated from Robert E. Lee Senior High School in 1944. I saw him, since, at some of our 1944 Class reunions! He and I shared very similar 1 Initial and last Name! He was D. Griffin and I was D. Griffith! While I was not a close friend, I remember him fondly! My best wishes and symphathy to all of Don's Family!

I am truly sadden to learn today that a very charished friend has passed. Don and Dave were one of my first cliens when I started my bussiness 27 years ago. I have always credited them for helping me in the beginning when it was leaner times. Don kept us busy working on his rental, beach, and bussiness properties for many years. He was a father figure for me after I lost my dad in 1984. He always had wonderful personal and bussiness advise and was always there if I needed anything. I will...

I knew Don as well as worked for him many years ago. He was a good man in many ways. There were many times I went to him for help, and was never denied.I did not see him in his last years with much regret. He is now with his best friend again. With all my sympathy, Kenny Carter

It was an honor to have known Don over the past 20+ years. He was a friendly man and as honest as you will find. God bless.

We loved and respected you highly, Uncle Don. To you, we know, family and friends were your life. You will be missed, but a greater treasure than any you could find here on earth is now yours. You are blessed, and so were we to have been a part of your life. We will see you again!
