GROW, Donald B., 73, of Goochland, passed away at home Tuesday, February 19, 2008, after a lengthy fight with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann "Shirley" Grow; four children, Krista Norrington and husband, George, Eric Grow and wife, Margina, Scott Grow and wife, Carrie and Jon Grow; eight grandchildren, Dyer, Brett and Colin Norrington, McLane and Fletcher Grow and McKaella Colton and Logan Grow; one sister, Ann Grow; his dog and best friend, Finnegan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Grow retired as Corporate Personnel Director after 35 years of service with Reynolds Metals. An avid golfer, he was a member of Hermitage Country Club and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Remains rest at the West Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St., where family will receive friends Friday, February 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service to be held at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held 12 noon Saturday, February 23, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis, Suite F #227, 1659 Branham Lane, San Jose, Calif. 95118 or Bon Secours Hospice, 8580 Magellan Parkway, Building 4, Richmond, Va. 23227.
