What a mensch!! You could talk to Dr. Don about anything, and know he was engaged and interested. You weren't likely to touch on any subject he did not already know about. The Doc never seemed to be in a hurry; he always had time for you. He enriched our lives immeasurably. Rest in Peace, good and faithful servant!

Don loved reading with the children at Sedgefield Elementary school. He was very dedicated, and would come early to prepare for the one-on-one reading session with his student.

Don was a friend to us for many years, especially through activities in the Adults Plus group at Myers Park Church. He was a man of few words but what he said was always important and uplifting. Our prayer is that God's greatest comfort will be with Eric and all Don's many friends.
