As one of Don's first nurses, I knew he was special. The dedication and love shown by his family was very touching to my heart and proved to show what a great father he must have been. His beautiful eyes and smile could light up the room. Others have commented on Don's smile. That distinctive smile reflected Don's zest for life and his appreciation of family and friends. The last time I had the pleasure of seeing Don was in January 2006 when he traveled to Tallahassee to be with his daughter Debby and his newborn grandson Hank.
