Not sure what to say?

Rest in Peace coach Hartley, you were a great guy and a great coach.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. My earliest memories of Coach Hartley are when my older brother Steve Williams played for him in the 1960’s.
In high school he was my gym teacher.
Last time I saw him was in the 1990’s at a cookout at Steve’s home on south street in Red Creek.
A wonderful person and a life well lived. So glad to have grown up knowing him.

Don and I shared many memories over the past several years including the get together at his red creek home with don and Mary, Pete and joan, Barbara,. We enjoyed golf , fishing, among many other things I will seriously miss the good times we enjoyed together may he rest in peace

Apologies that I was unable to attend. Know that his contributions were much greater than just those lives he impacted first hand as his influence has been passed on to so many he never met. I will always remember him fondly and be grateful for the lessons learned on and off the pitch that were then put to use in so many aspects of every day life. It was truly a privilege to have know him. My thought and prayers to you all.

Coach was an amazing man. He coached when I was school and coached my son's class. What an honor to know him. I was always greeted with a big smile and "Hi". He was a true legend.

Uncle Donald was a great person! Although I did not get to see him very much over the years, we did stay in touch. Thanks to his wonderful children, I did get to visit with him and his family about six weeks before he passed away. Because of his great coaching and teaching career he influenced and mentored a lot of people. We know that he is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. Reuniting with his family and friends! Thank you Jeff, Lori, Kimberly, and Dan for all that you did for your Dad....

Coach Hartley was a great mentor, and later in my life, a close neighbor, and friend. We spoke often, played golf against my other neighbor, Don Jones and my brother, Larry. We lost, and won, but the beer at the end, either at his house, or mine, were always cold and the conversations were always fun.
RIP Coach, you have given to many, and asked for nothing in return.

Coach Don Hartley
I have always held Coach Hartley in the highest regards as a teacher, coach and community leader.
I was in second or third grade at Fair Haven Elementary School when coach came to the district and was my PE teacher. He was confident and consistent in his methods that resulted in learning the basics of good health and the rules of sports/games. He organized many extra opportunities for us to play supervised basketball at the Margaret Cuyler Elementary School on...
