Not sure what to say?

"Close these damn doors!" was Don's credo when I met him in 1981 at Southland Foods (now MarketFare Foods) and anytime I see the letters USDA I think of Don. I came to appreciate his authoritative, humorous approach as the guy that could "tag the front gate". Don loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and I still employ his fishing techniques to this day. He was a genuine character and will not be forgotten.

To Don Hase's family and loved ones. Sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don and I go back a long way. I met Don when we worked together at Cudahy Packing company in North Salt Lake in 1958. We later worked together in the United States Department of Agriculture for over 30 years. Don was a loyal friend and I enjoyed working with him. All who knew Don will miss his friendship and unique sense of humor. We shared many good times over the years.
Thank you! Don C. Cunningham
