Not sure what to say?

My condolences goes out to Don´s family. He will be missed by many people.

Dear Mrs. Hastings, Leslie, Nancy, and Jane. Don was the best ever. I just heard about his passing. After all these years, I can still remember his charm, grace, and love of life. I remember his love for the four of you. I remember his fairness and work ethic. I remember how he mentored employees. I remember how well he treated everyone. I never met Jim Lincoln but I felt I did, because of the way that Don spoke of him. I have never met anyone that compares with Don Hastings. I...

Dear Shirley and family. I was so very sorry to hear of Don's passing. You and he were a couple of elegance and grace. I remember so fondly the times both Jim and I spent with you. All my very best and sincerest thoughts and prayers to you and your dear ones. Love Dede Storer

My father, C.L. Stocker was Don's "boss" in the San Francisco Bay Area in his early years. So proud of Don's career. Shocked to hear of his death. When my father died Don came to the service and still talked about my father as "boss". They did really like each other!!!! Sorry for your loss Shirley.

Dear Shirley,
I am so very, very sorry to learn of Don's death. He was a an amazing guy who cared about helping people do better and do more for others and he led by example. I had the pleasure of working with him in the campaign to build the American Cancer Society's Cleveland Hope Lodge back in the mid-90's. He would leave no stone unturned to help fund the lodge which has served well over 6,000 patients and their families since it opened in 1995. It is just a portion of the...

Don quite literally changed the direction of my life when, in 1989, he gave me the opportunity to earn a spot in Lincoln's sales force. I'll remember his beautiful smile, relentless optimism, exquisite leadership skills and magnetic personality. Most of all, I'll remember the twinkle in his eyes, when times were tough, that said "we can do this, we will turn this ship around." Don was and is an inspiration to me to do my best and to do the right thing no matter what. Much love to Shirley,...

Don was a honest man, if you met him on the street you would not know if he was a CEO or Factory worker. He was a down to earth, good guy. At a managers meeting in the auditorium one day when he was going over our problems in Germany, I stood up and told him, if he was as good as he thought he was, He would go over there and fix it. He didn't say anything, but a few days later he called me to his office and told me he was going to German, and it was my fault. He did and pulled us back from...
