Not sure what to say?

You are a great God father. My prayers are with you.
XOXO

Donny was one the best people that you could ever hope to meet, I was just lucky in that matter, he was one of my dads best friends, and that's how I had the pleasure of knowing him. My dad is at this time going through chemo, Donny and he had many conversations over the phone during the duration, I think it made both of them feel a little better having someone to relate to in such an awful situation. Towards the end Donny didn't feel like talking much, and I know that my dad missed having...

Modesto 1987 and Colorado Springs 1989

To the Hauenstein Family, there are no words to express my saddness at Donnies passing. To Ira and Raina, there is a poem of sorts that, when i run across it it reminds me of your dad, it has to do with men who are too gentle to live among the corporate wolves. Your dad was a dreamer, he was always drifting off someplace in his head. He often made us nuts on road trips because he would literally stop at every historical marker and "count every tree" along the road. I was so glad to hear...

To my cousin that brought so much wild adventure to the family tapestry; the "little kid" that brought new meaning to the words "independence" and "free spirit" ..... our prayers and remembrances go out for your expedited 'check-in' at the pearly gates. Hold us a spot 'in the pits' for we shall soon or eventually travel the same highway and join you. Rest in loving peace, Cuz'.

I am speechless, Don and I flew in Chignik a few years back. We survived and overcame some of Alaska's toughest challenges side by side. We saved each other's lives on one occassion.

I can only imagine the altitude he is flying at right now.

I am saddened by the news recently, but it brought back the memories instantly, and they are good ones. Still remember us riding in Jim's truck (Arcadian) and you passed my driving test!! I enjoyed many moments with you at the company. Thanks Don and may our good Lord remember you...

You were one of the best men I have met.I will always remember you.I loved you more eveytime I got to see you.Your loved ones are in my prayers.I know that you are watching over us all.

Donnie,
Our friendship started around 42 years ago in Kingsburg Ca. We were 16 and we grew up together. We always new what the other one was talking about or thinking. We didn't need to explain ourselves to each other. You had character, talent, creativity, love in your heart and the most bizzare sense of humor that one could encounter. You were full of adventure and I mean real adventure and lived your life outside of the box. We shared 100's of adventures good and bad. I valued your...

Donnie, you were greatly loved and will be even more missed. Our sympathy goes out to all your loved ones.
