Donald L. Hecker

We first met Don when he and the Hecker family came to California for the wedding of our daughter Heather and his son Nick, as shown in the photo. Don was instantly likable, a very genuine person. He seemed to have a gift for helping students and others he knew find ways of reaching their best potential. What a remarkable man. We're so glad we had that time with him. Our love to all the family.

I worked with Dr. Hecker for years at the Lansing Social Security Hearings Office. He was always kind, quick-witted and so very hard-working. He was a favorite. My condolences go out to his friends and family. I hadn't seen him in awhile, but I certainly won't ever forget him.

RIP Uncle Don. I'm sure you are rejoicing with Aunt Bunny. You will be missed. God Bless.
