Not sure what to say?

I had Mr. Hopper for 5th grade in 1968, and he was a wonderful teacher. I felt encouraged, supported, and challenged in his class, which is a delicate balance to get right, but Mr. Hopper did it. I've thought of him fondly all these years, and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I was heart broken to see Mr Hopper had passed away he was a very special man at our elementary school he had a heart of gold I remember my dad passed away and Mr. Hopper talked to me about it at recess because I was so upset what a wonderful man he will always be in our thoughts. My deepest condolences to the family

I have such fond memories of Mr Hopper and my 3rd grade class at Castle Hills. I've thought of him often over the years.

You were the best teacher I ever had

Go rest high Mr. Hopper. Yes, truly one of my favorite teachers at Castle Hills Elementary School. My prayers to the family. Know that he represented everything small town America. Living and working in Las Vegas makes me appreciate the life he stood for. Thank you for your service and guidance. God bless.

My thoughts and Prayers go out to Mr. Hopper and his family. I had Mr. Hopper as my 4th Grade teacher at Castle Hills Elementry and I always remember him having a huge heart and wanting to help me with extra help with my math.

Prayers to the family of my favorite teacher! Besides making 3rd grade memorable in 1980 he was also a great neighbor (always making me a snack in the kitchen in Castle Hills). The last time we spoke was when he still split his time in Potts Net & Florida. A man to admire. He will be missed.
