Not sure what to say?

I had a nice ride on the family Chris Craft one summer day many yrs ago with sandy winding you lived next door in wauwatosa.

Don was such a kind man who cared so much for his family. He was such a jokester with a warming heart. He loved home made cookies and from time to time we would spend time baking. Don has stories to tell as we sat outside and enjoy the warm weather. I would joke with him about how it was going to snow and how much he loved it. Don definitely did not approve of snow! Don will be dearly missed. My greatest sympathy goes to his beautiful family. I want to thank them for giving me the opportunity...

Great man, Great Christian, Great family and great company.

Don made a meaningful impact in my life. I forgot to mention in my earlier post that never have I ever laughed so much at 7 a.m. greeting Don and his night time caregiver. Never. What a special gentleman

I have many warm memories of Uncle Donald. I remember him as gentle, kind, and funny. I cherish memories of our annual family picnics and the weddings, holiday parties, and, yes, funerals, where we´d get to catch up with all the cousins. My condolences to his huge extended family. I think G-Grampa Joe would say that Don did well by the Horning name. Rest In Peace, Uncle Don.

I had the pleasure of caring for Don as a Touching Hearts caregiver for almost a year. He was an incredibly kind and sweet man, very easy to spend time with as we discovered that we had much in common. I enjoyed hearing many stories from Don, got to know him on a level that was special to me and marveled at his many attentive family members. I thought of Don often and know he will rest well with Katy, whom he missed dearly, and his Lord. So very glad I had the opportunity to meet and care...

Don and Katy were wonderful neighbors. Always a pleasure chatting with them. We admired their devotion to each other and to their large, close-knit family. He will be missed in our neighborhood. God bless and comfort you as you grieve the loss of your father, grandfather and friend.
