Not sure what to say?

Our family is deeply saddened by this news and offer our sincere condolences. Both of our children were students of Mr. Hornish at Westfield High School. His influence on both of them was profound and years later we still cite him and Mrs. Hornish as perfect examples of what good teaching is about. We will be forever grateful. The number of young lives he positively impacted is huge - what a legacy!

Very sad to hear of Tom's passing. I knew him from Grover Cleveland Jr. High and James Caldwell High School. He was a great friend throughout the school years and even beyond. He was always happy and eager to help anyone when needed. My sympathy to his family and he will be missed.

I also remember Thom as a...

I am so sorry to hear about Tom. He was a high school classmate who was also ready with a helping hand, quick wit and ready laugh. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. - Judy Samson Haas

Mr. Hornish was one of the main reasons that I chose to enter into teaching as a Junior. He was fair, just, and pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of.

Mr Hornish was a wonderful person and passionate teacher. Kayla really enjoyed his class as well as her Euro Challenge experience. He will be missed.
