Not sure what to say?

To Don's family and friends - this is Stephen Schmitz, W0SJS, an OMIK member and the creator of the OMIK CW Net. I knew that Don had passed as he was a regular member of the Wednesday evening OMIK CW Net. And I have missed hearing Don. I send you my thoughts and remember Don as a wonderful man. Steve, W0SJS

Thank you, Mr. Howard for always supporting my efforts- whether it was buying popcorn for the Boy Scouts; donating money for my fundraising with the JDF; putting up with my childish hijinks as your next door neighbor; or just saying hi and striking up a brief conversation whenever you ran into me when you were out getting the paper or having a quick...

So very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Howard. He was a truly wonderful man. Our condolences to all who loved him.

Betty and Family: May God send peace to you and the family during this difficult time. Shirley Robinson

I had the great honor of knowing Donald as an attorney and worked on a few cases with him during our careers. I saw him at court within the past year and was a bit stunned to find I shall not see him there again. He brought a dignity and calm to the courtroom that I for one shall miss. Grateful to have known and worked with him. Thank you Donald Howard Jean Brandt

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Rest in peace cousin.

Safe travels, Don. Hope to cross paths with you again one day! Dan Garfield (W8KIC)

A truly remarkable attorney and collegiate friend. I will always admire Don´s calm demeanor and brilliant mind. His inspiration, mentorship and leadership touched countless lives. My thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the family.
