Not sure what to say?

The summer after my 10th grade year at San Dieguito High School, Susie Hubbard and I went with my aunt to Arizona to the ranch where my grandfather had homesteaded. When we were ready to go home, Mr. Hubbard flew his airplane to pick us up and fly us home. That was a real adventure!

Wayne tipping his hat to Don.

The Bumgarner Family sends you prayers and thanks Don for all the fun that he and Wayne experienced.

Dear Diana, Susie, Sandy and families,
Sending my love and condolences to all of you, on the passing of your Dad.
What an interesting guy your Dad was! A real hard working pioneer, and such an important part of the community.
I know you will be surrounded by friends and family and memories tomorrow. I will be thinking about you.
-Sally Bell

Our prayers and thought are with Dottie and the Hubbard family. Don was truly a special person who will long be remembered by his community and friends. God Speed Donald! Ron & Jackie Zehr

Don Hubbard - you did so much for Encinitas with your generosity and community spirit. I admired you greatly. My sympathy to the Hubbard family in your loss. You are his legacy.

Sheila S. Cameron
former Mayor of Encinitas

Like I am sure Don did with so many people, he made a wonderful lasting impression on me, earning my appreciation and respect. As an attorney for Morrie Steiman I also assisted Don in certain real estate matters with which he had joint ventured with Morrie. One memorable evening in San Francisco we had a superb Chinese dinner at a renowned restaurant, and then attended and participated in a religious celebration which Morrie asked us to go to with him. My only regret is that I never took...

Rest In Peace, Uncle Don. You were the Lion King of old Encinitas. You helped me laugh and learn.

Pop played with don as kids, worked for don as an adult and later played like kids again flying around in his plane. Pop always talked about him and I'm sure he was waiting for don at the pearly gates.
we send our sincere condolences

Sincerely,
Frank Presley and family son and family of George presley

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I will cherish the fond memories of all the trips, Christmas parties, BBQ's and company events we shared together.

Don will be dearly missed.
