To the Family and of Don , May God be with you in this time of sorrow, I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing! He was a very Dear Friend of mine and my entire family, we go way back, and even though we went in different directions thru the years, we reconnected our friendship and had lots of laughs! It was like all those years we didn't see one another,never mattered, that's the kind of friend he was! I will deeply miss him!

Donnie, yes, as you and I laughed, I am the only one who still calls you Donnie. As the youngest Hunter cousin, you will always be Donnie to me. I enjoyed and looked forward to your calls...we caught up on our respective children and grandchildren's lives as well as everything Palmerton. You truly were the de facto Palmerton historian! After my Dad moved to Annapolis, Maryland at age 87 to be close to my husband Rick and me, you visited with your family and gave my Dad such joy in...

My wife Peggy and I are truly saddened by the loss of Donnie Hunter. We want to express our deepest condolences to his entire family. I'll always remember all the fun we had over the past 56 years of friendship. RIP Donnie!

Dear Family...I have no words to describe the Heartbreak. I had just seen Don at Jim Cropper's Viewing a few weeks ago. It was Wonderful to spend time with him. I know He knew where He was going when He passed, a beautiful place...Heaven. May God wrap His arms around you All in Peace and Love. Prayers...
