Sue and Family, somehow I missed the news of Don's passing, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am sorry I missed the service for Don. He was a great guy and a regular at the old car events, We will miss Him.

I was a foster child of Don and Sue, and lived with them in Aurora Il. I can remember their first son "Simon" the dogs, the sled the snow, my very first and only canoe trip, where he did all the work and all I did was just laid in the canoe, enjoying his hard work, but he didnt mind. and all the other fond memories, I remember the kindness and generosity of Don, but also the strickenes (cant go out until my homework was done, etc. ) I will miss him, because of Don and Sue, they made it...

I'll miss you at the Burlington Route Historical Society meets. Your friendship will always by well remembered.

Don had a great deal of passion no matter what he was talking about. We enjoyed every moment that he was in our shop. He was intelligent, funny, and full of character. We will miss him very much.
