Not sure what to say?

Sweet bear Don with his pipe smoking. He was such a lovely cuddly man. He and my parents Al and Hazel LaRossa (now deceased) were best friends! Jackie and my Mom enjoyed many laughs together. My deepest sympathies to his children! My memories are so fond of him❤

Jerry, Betty, Don, Jackie

Gerald Rack, friend of Don's for 82 years remembers these fun times:
1) Building model airplanes in Golena Street basement in 1938.
2)Roaming the woods at Pewaukee Lake with our 22's.
3)Staying overnight at my folks Pewaukee Late Cottage. Low on money, Don furnished our cold supper. Canned Pig's kuckles. UGH!
4) Car trips to Fon-du-Lac at night with Jackie and Betty for tomato soup
5)Overhauled engine on Don's Studebaker President. New rings and bearings. Cold winter...

So sad to hear the news about Mr. Jarr. It is never easy to loose a loved one. I remember his beautiful paintings and all the love in the family, my deepest sympathy to you Sandy, Little Davey and Donna... fondest memories of all of you. Liz (Livingston) Lapham

I always remembered you as being a Classy Guy. So much loved your paintings. Sending much Love and Peace.

Thinking of you - Donna, Dave and Sandy. Rest in peace with Grandma. We love you all! ~ Sara, Jack and Darwin

Many memories of Mr. Jarr float through my mind these past few days. A favorite is that he would mix up my name on purpose and call me "Sandy Debborn" and of course the smell of his pipe smoke. I will remember him with a smile. Sending my sympathy to Sandy, David and Donna as well as the rest of the family. Don lived a good long life and is reunited with his beloved Jackie now. You were fortunate to have him in your lives for so many years. May memories of good times spent together give you...

What a great loss for the world and a gain for Jackie and God! I only knew this beautiful soul as a patient, but loved him as a friend. He and Jackie were always a joy to be around, so much love, humor and grace displayed by each of them. I know his heart broke the day Jackie went "home" but he stayed strong, always a smile on his face. To all grieving the loss of a father, grandfather, friend.. know that he will always remain in your memories and your hearts as that would be how he would...

You are in my thoughts. I always enjoyed fishing and golfing with Don. Good memories. Frank Scherer

Sure miss you Big Guy! You will forever be remembered by friends and family for your good will, artistic ability, friendship, sense of humor, service to our country, and much, much more. The Packers and Badgers have lost a great fan, and I... well I have lost my longest and best guy friend. Love you tons Pop. Please tell Mom I miss her when you see her - Dave
