Not sure what to say?

I love and miss you.

It will be 7 years on May 19th, since I was able to speak to you in person. Your absence is surely felt throughout the lives of all the family and friends who remain and who are dedicated to keeping your loving memory alive. I love and miss you so much and every day you cross my mind and feel me with love and laughter. My greatest joy is being your daughter. Love always, Daphne.

I can't believe it's been 6 years. Sometimes it seems like yesterday; when it hits like a brick, when I want to share a funny story, when I want to kiss your forehead saying "I'm going home Daddy. I love you." You're my proof that love is forever.

It has been 4 years, since my greatest love passed. I still miss him everyday but the sadness of his no longer being physically present to share the ups and downs of living are now replaced with laughter, smiles and thankfulness to have such a great, funny and loving man as my father. I am blessed that he will always be my DAD.

It's taken a while to express how much my dad was missed on what would have been his 80th birthday (10/24). My head and heart are filled with such sadness and such joy. The sadness from missing him so much and the joy of the memories of having the BEST dad, father, advisor, protector a "baby girl" could ever hope for. Forever missing Dad.

I only met your father, grandfather, and spouse a few times but I was struck by his serenity and kindness. His example of how to live was transmitted to his children. I know this because my child and I are beneficiaries. As you mourn your loss, I pray that you his family will find comfort and peace as you live your lives so that embody all that was right and good about your loved one. Peace.

Our family will be keeping yours in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing moments of comfort and peace to the family.

Uncle Donald was one of the coolest uncle that you could ever wish for, he had one of those hearts, that if you were ever in his presence, if he knew you or not, he made sure everybody was going to leave happy, he will truly be missed.

We will never forget you here at Midtown, you were absolutely my favorite.
