Don created an environment for success with his leadership as the principal of Lansing Eastern. Discipline, expectation and inspiration were all part of the culture. It created a great foundation for future success for many of us. I feel fortunate to have attended his school and to get to know him after graduation.

Oh boy, this is a tough one. What a giant chunk of Lansing history is this great man! Honesty, integrity, promoting the best in other people, handing out tough love in a perfect way, the best ambassitor Pattengail, Eastern, and Lansing could ever dream of, and many more fine qualities.
