Not sure what to say?

Dearest Peggy,
Your father certainly made his mark here on Earth. I know that you are so proud of him for the many contributions that he made during his lifetime. He will be remembered by many for his sharing and caring. May your many memories as well as those of others help to give you comfort during this time of loss and sadness. Know that you are loved and lifted up in prayer and positive thoughts by others. May this ease your burden. With love.

My sympathies to the Johnstone Family. I have the fondest childhood memories of your family and our fun times when the Johnstones, Greens, Ishams, Prestons and Hanbridges were together. Your Dad had a marvelous sense of humor. May your wonderful memories of him comfort you. Peni Hanbridge Saulnier

I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was one of the founding members of Malletts Bay Congregational Church in Colchester and always just known as Don. He and Helen worked hard to insure the success of this new church for which we will always be grateful

I met him only once but he grew up in Newport , dear friend of my mother, Barabara Contant Chapman and brother of my godmother, Ruth Johnstone .

Don was one of our favorite people visiting the Clan Johnston/e tent at the local games and Scottish festivals in the area. He was always a joy to talk with, so full of history and good information about anything you wanted to discuss. He was tireless and could walk long distances, even into his advanced years. When he was 90, we walked near a mile for a ceremony at Fort Ticonderoga and he refused a ride from a cart hauling younger and less active folks. We will miss him. Bart and Lee...
