Thank you for your and your family´s generosity in offering me the Jonas scholarship for the 2018-2020 term. Visual health has become near and dear to my heart (and eyes) and I take every opportunity to teach visual health to all students I encounter. I could not have done that with out your efforts and recognizing the importance of what nurses so. May your memory continue to be a blessing to those who knew and loved you.

My condolences to the Jonas family. What a wonderful legacy Donald and Barbara Jonas have left. I am a 2021-2023 Jonas Scholar studying environmental health. This support has transformed me personally and in my career. I am studying environmental health and impacts of wildfire smoke on underserved populations. I am forever grateful for the Jonas foundation and dedication to nurse education. Washington State College of Nursing

As a 2021-2023 Jonas Scholar I am grateful to his commitment to the advancement of nursing science and the overall goodwill to humankind. It is my hope that myself and fellow scholars make him proud and continue the Jonas legacy.

What wonderful role models for us all. One of my favorite experiences was playing golf with Mr Jonas at Sunningdale. His eyesight was failing, but with the help of his caddie, he hit the greens better than the rest of us! His memory always brings a smile to my face. And what a wonderful mark...
