Not sure what to say?

Don was a dear friend of ours for many decades. Friday night pizza from the Cheeseboard had been a long-standing tradition that was renewed in mid-2020 when Don became unable to leave home. Don’s caregivers prepared the patio for al fresco dining in warm weather, complete with Provencal tablecloth and of course a bottle of good red. He was unique.... It is rare to meet a person of his moral height coupled with his scientific culture and capacity. He was a mentor to me: I would not be the same I am today without the long discussions and emails we exchanged in almost 30 years

Don was such a great person and he meant so much to me, after many years taking care of his home he became part of my family, I will forever hold his memory close to my heart.

He was very interested in my life and problems and always had advice -- some of it even useful. He was very strongly opinioned about which car I...
