Dear Keaney Family,

I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Dad. I took care of him briefly while at Davita and was amazed that while enduring all that he was he remained a wonderfully kind man. It was obvious that this is just the way he was. A great man. I consider myself honored to have known him. Please know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time.

Don was a wonderful man and a great friend. Going out on the boat with him was always a pleasure that i am glad i was lucky enough to have had with him. We love you all, Jeff, Colleen and Brian. In our thought and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Don personally but the stories that Colleen told about him made us all feel that we knew him for years. She loved him and knew he loved her. He was a special man in her life as well as his son's. He loved his family so much. Please take comfort in knowing that he is at peace, and that he will always be with you.

We loved the camaraderie he had with Jeff and all the fishing buddies, down on Howland’s Landing where he & Jeff moored their boats.

One of the most beautiful things about your dad was his warm and caring personality, I instantly felt welcomed, as if family, every time we talked. Over the past year we had become good friends and I would stop by whenever I saw him outside for a visit. He told me he would always watch for me as I walked by with my dog and call me over, but I always watched and looked for him too, and was sorry that I had missed him when he wasn't there. I was lucky to have him in my life and I will miss him...
