I just heard at our RR teachers wives club monthly lunch that Don passed. Maryanne was such a good friend as Don was to Bob Cilimburg. I do not really know what happens in death but I do know it is comforting to think that all the Rocky River teachers and coaches are meeting in heaven to watch the current teams of students. Don was a faithful visitor to Bob those last couple of yeas. I will call Coach Dooley´s daughter as well as Vange Richards.Blessings to all the Kelley family, Kay...

I spent nine of my 50 yeas in education at Rocky River High School. Don Kelly was one of the outstanding people I got to know and respect during my career. He exemplified all the attributes of a master teacher. His influence on students outside the classroom provided them with the knowledge to live productive adult lives. I watched Don care for his baseball field the same way he cared about his family and students. My only regret is that I could not persuade the Rocky Schools central office...
