Uncle Donald, was an incredible man. His smile would light up a room along with his humor and wit. I remember riding my bike in the neighborhood and looking into the garage and watching him re-caning chairs, I always found it fascinating. I know as a child, i was one of few words but if I could ask him today, I would ask him if I could sit and join him and I know he would have loved it. That is that type of man he was, a true gentleman and will forever be known as one.

Our paths did not cross often at Katzenbach but Don´s reputation always preceded him as a dedicated teacher and gentleman to both his students and the people with whom he worked. I was lucky enough to work with his sister, Roberta Allen, for many, many years and learned of his family through her and as he stopped by her office often to say "hi". Sincere sympathies to all of his family and find comfort in the many fond memories you have of a wonderful and gentle man.
