Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Don's passing. I am very sad, he was a good friend though I had not seen him in many,many years. Don and I went to Lanier together and were running buddies for years. I am very sad at this loss and my (late) sympathies to all.

Those of you who knew Don well, know that May 28th would have been his 49th birthday. I was feeling very sad when Don's friend Jim called and we decided to do something instead of sitting around letting the sadness become overwhelming. I called Joan, I knew she would be feeling the same way I was and told her that we wanted to take Don's ashes to Lake LBJ and let him go skiing one last time. She said he would like that.

Don was never happier than when we were out on a boat on Lake LBJ....

We are deeply sorry for your loss! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

I am still shocked by the whole thing. Linda, I love you so much and am always here for you! I am glad I got to see you both when I was in Austin in May, that is how I will remember Don. Fixing the umbrellas in the yard to try to shade us. I will say prayers for you and the family. Please take care of yourselves and don't hesitate if you ever need me! Love you all very much!

I will always remember Don with his smile and his little games and his ability to make something from nothing. I feel very blessed to have had him as my nephew. Good Bye Don - May you rest in peace until we meet again in Heaven.

My most fond moment was when Don and family were camping out here,i tried to be funny an push him into the pool, didnt work out so funny,and when we went to visit family down to texas. My prayers are with family.

Let the peace and serenity
of God's unconditional love
guide you while cautiously,
gently, enter your new path.
God grant you brightness,
warmth and comfort during
a newly introduced understanding;
Of the endlessness and capacity
To truly love, through the eyes
of our Heavenly Father.
All my love to you and yours,
