Dear Helen,

You may not remember us, but my husband, Jack, and I remember you and Don with great fondness. Jack and I both grew up in Great Falls (and I knew the Knutson family from my high school years). After we were married, Jack and I left Montana to pursue our education in other places. When it came time for Jack to complete his military commitment with the Air Force, we were stationed back in Great Falls for two years. You and Don graciously invited us to join a home Bible study,...

Mr. Knutson was my math teacher at Paris Gibson - what a wonderful teacher and a very nice man. He was so patient! I have fond memories of his class. My prayers and sympathy to his family.

Knutson family,
I loved my childhood and the Knutson family played a large role in it. They were our neighbors. I remember spending as much time at their house as I did at my own. What wonderful memories I have and I am so thankful that they were apart of my life.
Don will live in our hearts forever.

Mr. Knutson was my 7th grade math teacher at East, school year 1959-60, and he was the best. My dad, Chuck Buley, math teacher at West, thought the world of him. He was just a special man -- the evidence in those of you I knew like Don and Duane. I know how very much he'll be missed and ask the Holy Spirit, Our Comforter, to hold you all very close in the days to come. You are in my heart and in my prayers.

I had Mr. Knutson for a teacher and some of the advise he game me I took to heart and passed it on the my kids. He challenged me and I thought he was being hard on me. I never got the chance to thank him for it. I am very sorry for your loss. Heaven is getting a wonderful angel!!

Dear Helen and family - Diane, you have done such a fine job with summarizing the fine dad you've honored. Thank you. Helen, your dear Don is now Home and cared for in our Loving Father's arms.
