Not sure what to say?

Don was a great guy and a great teacher. I had for a few years in the 1990´s in aviation. He was also a darn good pilot. I flew with him a time or two...Rest in peace Don. Go fly with the angels now ! Thanks for the memories and all your help in aviation class !

What a lovely guy. A mentor to many and a helpful friend. A great source of inventive ideas as a technical counselor to EAA members building airplanes. And I am one who profited greatly from my acquaintance with him.

RIP MR Lapointe. I was blessed to have you as a teacher at Prince Tech in the 70's and Ellis Tech in the 90's. Your good nature was always a pleasure being around you. God's speed my friend.

To the LaPointe family: So sorry to hear of Don's passing. We were classmates of Don, at East Hartford High School. Our thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to the LaPointe family. He will be missed.

Dear Marge, Please accept our Sincere Condolences to you and your Family.
Sincerely, Pierre and Eileen Dastous

My heart goes out to you for your loss. Although I only met Don recently, I feel blessed to have been in his company if only for a short while. Keeping you in my prayers.

Sending a light of comfort and love. Don was a man with many gifts. He could light up a room with his enthusiasm and humor. May he Rest In Peace.

Sincerely,

Dear Marge, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Don was a very witty conversationlist and had many stories to tell. He was great at describing funny and interesting experiences he had at the family get togethers at Karen and Bill's house. Don was one of a kind and will be missed. I hope you find comfort in all the memories you and he had together.
