Don was a happy warrior who was always ready for a good exchange, open to ideas, and dedicated to the welfare of Madison. A lovely man much missed.

Donald was my older cousin and a really great person. He always, "lit up the room" when he arrived. Everyone enjoyed his company. Condolences to my cousin Angie and his children.

Don was an excellent First Selectman and a gentleman when discussing politics. Madison was lucky to have his talents working for it.

Don was not only my optometrist when he was in Madison, but a Selectman I respected. Madison has lost some very important long time people in the last few days. Don certainly among the most important.
My sympathies to his family.
