Although we only met a few times, Donald was my father, Roland LaFlamme's, first cousin; and it was immediately apparent to me that he was a sweet man. My grandfather, Clifford (Cleophas) LaFlamme, was Donald's father, Ernest's, oldest brother. My father had a brother named Donald Arthur LaFlamme, for whom I was named, who died in 1935.
