Mr. LaPlante was so awesome. A great teacher, I loved his class and I didn't even like history! A fun coach and a wonderful person. We will miss you dearly.

Mr. LaPlante was not only a teacher, troubleshooter and coach, he was also a friend. To me Mr. LaPlante was Mr. Northest. I will always remember Mr. LaPlante in those gray slacks and navy blazer on game days. My sympathy to his family.

Our prayers to the LaPlante family. Coach LaPlante was my varsity football coach at Northwest high school. He was a good man who cared for us. Tuff but very supportive. He was also courageous as hr injected himself in a "crime in process" at the school one day. He protected the kids in the gym that day. He made an impact on my life.
