Not sure what to say?

To DonL: Thanks for signing my movie cover "FIEND" and also helping my student Jamie during my school days at Towson HIGH School. You will be miss by me and others who knew you as a great teacher and movie actor...Good by

Don Leifert was, and will always be, memorable. A great and engaging teacher with warmth and compassion is unique - but Don offered us so much more. His humanity, sense of humor, and zeal were a prominent part of my education both as a student and as a human being.

For that, I thank him and all those that love and cherish him for keeping his memory alive.

Dear Leifert Family,
We regret the loss of your son, father and uncle.

We will remember Donald Leifert Jr. as a significant influence in our son's life. He encouraged Frankie to develop characters and his own character in two years of Theater at Towson High. In addition, Frankie cut his hair for a role in a play and prefers this look, today!

Sincerely.

I met Don at Towson University in the Theater Department back in 1974- he immediately befriended me and kept me laughing all the years I knew him- I reconnected with Don this summer and we planned to get together this fall- Don would say that was bad timing, I suppose- I can hardly believe his larger-than-life personality is no longer with us- even after not seeing him these past many years, he is missed greatly- my thoughts are with his daughter and family- be consoled that Don made a huge...

I had Mr. Liefert for 11th grade English at Carver Center A&T. His humor was contagious. He was instumental in improving my writing skills, a lesson and a teacher that I fondly remember.

Two of my daughters attend Towson and knew Mr. Leifert. I am sorry for your loss. I am glad that my one daughter was able to be taught by him. He had given m daughter and her friend their nicknames of "Frick" and "Frack" which let me know that he had a wonderful sense of humor. I wish nothing but ease through this hard time for your family. I know my daughters will miss him. Fraley / Gillespie Family

Dear Family of Don,
I had the pleasure of Don's wit, wisdom and wonder of all things dramatic as we attended the same pool. He'd entertain us all with his array of stories, jokes and the latest book and movie we should invest in...
He loved his students, family and life. Elizabeth was his Masterpiece and his love for her will spotlight her for all her years. He always lit up when she was the topic and he included her in every conversation. He was the proudest Dad ever. Don will be...

I went to Carver Center for Arts and Technology while Mr Leifert taught there. He was a good teacher that gave me the chance to be an 80 year old woman in a show. He always gave newbies a chance which was something that I always thought highly of him for. Something that I remember about him is that he always had a story to share about his little girl (since it has been more than 10 years, I'm sure she is now a young lady). Elizabeth, your father was so proud of you and talked about you always...
