Not sure what to say?

Thank you everyone, for leaving such kind words and memories. Dad retained his sense of humor up until the very end., never complained about his pain either. He truly was one of a kind.
In his last week, we were at the hospital., dad had his eyes shut but was listening to people talking around him. One of the nurses remarked, "Don, your daughter looks just like you"
His response, with eyes still closed, "God help her"
Although I have his nose (to some degree) I am...

My condolences to the family of Don Lett. It was such a blessing to have met and known a special person.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Lett family. Don was the very first attorney for whom I worked as an attorney upon my graduation from law school in 1973. In this regard, I will always cherish the memory that Don opened the door for me to begin my legal career in Richland County. But more importantly, I will miss Don, his presence---I can still recall his wit, humor, and laughter.

"Elizabeth, please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Your father sounded like an amazing person and you are a testimony to his life. "

I can tell that Don was a remarkable and special person from reading the obituary. My sincere and deep sympathy to my dear friends Elizabeth and Jeff with whom I have spent hours on the beach protecting baby sea turtles.

Please accept out heartfelt sympathy on the passing of our father. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My condolences to Don's family. It was a blessing to help care for Don. He will be missed.

I first met Don while working at the Brass Plate in Loudondville and we became friends after that. He had a big heart, a great laugh and was smart as a whip.
I a glad he was my friend and he will be missed by many.
So sorry for your loss.

He's the only person I have known to leave his car running while he was dining out. He did this so that his dogs could enjoy the air conditioning while they were in the car waiting for him. I am better for having known Don and I will miss him. If you climb a mountain searching for wisdom you will find Don sitting at the top of it! Rest in Peace friend.
