Not sure what to say?

Don was a very important presence in my famiy's lives...he was always there when needed, especially when we lost our own parents, but it wasn't all tragic and we had so many memorable gatherings with Don and Betty. He was special through and through, and I will think of him often as I always have over the years. Take care of yourself, Betty. I know there will be an empty spot, but just remember we are thinking warm thoughts for you too. Love always, Christine

Uncle Donny,Loving disposition, very musical...Yes there will be a void. Our condolences.. to Aunt Betty and our cousins...Love Lauralyn& Bruce

Don always had a smile, a joke and nice things to say. He made me and my girls feel welcomed and cared about. He will be remembered by our family and thought of often.

I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. I will always remember him as a happy soul who welcomed me into his home any time I dropped by. My condolences and love go out to his family.

The Donald LeVon that my siblings and I knew and loved was always known to us as “Uncle Hymie” – because our father, his younger brother Bruce, always called him that, telling us that as a young man, with his slight build, big smile and large glasses, that his brother looked like Hyram Baggs, I believe, from a comic they liked.

Dad and Uncle Hymie were not just brothers, they were also best friends – and along with their long time friend from childhood, Donnie Cale, they...

My Grampa lived by example. He showed us all how to live with the default of being "happy" and appreciation of the little things. Always looking at the sunny side of life's experiences. In your honour Grampa I am saying hello to every person I pass on the street saying "good day!" as you always did. I love you and miss you. Chale xoxo

In the three years I had known Don, I have never shared more happy stories about another resident. Don kept so many people smiling either through his loving nature, his sweet attitude or his many adorable and funny jokes. He'll be missed and remembered!

We will always remember Don for his happy disposition , and his sweet smile. I think all the kids will also remember him for his butterscotch candies:)Our hearts go out to all the family. Tim, Melanie, Shaine & Tyler

To the lives that you have touched, we will remember you forever!
