I cannot believe it has been 6 years since Don has left us. I still believe that a part of the Slovenian heritage and history is gone with Don's passing. May he continue to pray for us and play for all those in his heavenly polka club.

Don was something else: a great accordionist and a great musician who could play (well) a variety of musical instruments, including stringed instruments and the CLARINET. He could even do choreography and could arrange parts for a tamburitza orchestra. And he was the most HUMBLE person you could ever meet. I just learned of Mr. Lipovac's passing today, 5 July 2014. I was sad to hear of his death because he was an exceptional musician and I learned a lot from him when I was in the Tamburitzans. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Lipovac. Rest in peace Mr. Lipovac. You've been an incredible person to have learned under.
