Not sure what to say?

My mother, dad and I always enjoyed seeing Don Lipovac and his band. Spent many hours dancing to him & Frank Yankovic. Always in our hearts.

Remembering you Don this week 10 years after your passing. Your memory and your great music lives on through all of your family, friends, and fans. Godbless you Don Lipovac.

I think of Don every time I prepare for a gig. He was a true professional who respected his art and talent and his love of God who created it all.

I cannot believe it has been 6 years since Don has left us. I still believe that a part of the Slovenian heritage and history is gone with Don's passing. May he continue to pray for us and play for all those in his heavenly polka club.

DON LIPOVAC
Don was something else: a great accordionist and a great musician who could play (well) a variety of musical instruments, including stringed instruments and the CLARINET. He could even do choreography and could arrange parts for a tamburitza orchestra. And he was the most HUMBLE person you could ever meet. He could play the accordion both classical and ethnic music with such expression, such emotion, and such gentleness. Don was a marvelous musician, a good man, a good...

Don will ALWAYS be missed by all that enjoyed his great talent. The music "lives on" and so do our many memories of his many performances!

My heart is saddened but at the same time joyful that Don has joined other great musicians that have passed . My father Eddie always admired Don and they became great friends ! May you forever be at peace . God Bless . Our peace and condolences Joanne . Mark Habat. & Habat family .

I just learned of Mr. Lipovac's passing today, 5 July 2014. I was sad to hear of his death because he was an exceptional musician and I learned a lot from him when I was in the Tamburitzans. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Lipovac. Rest in peace Mr. Lipovac. You've been an incredible person to have learned under.

Dear Jo Anne--just yesterday learned of Don's passing. I was shocked!--What a kind and wonderful gentelman he always was and a very fine accordionist. Please accept my sincere sorrow for you and family and I will always remember your visit with both of you in Media, Pa.
If ever I could help in any way please never hesitate to call on me. 610-565-3321. With my deepest sympathy and sorrow of this sad news-----Dan Desiderio
