Not sure what to say?

I met Don and his family only after he became ill and was in the Health Center at Friendship. It was clear to all who came in contact with this family that Don was beloved. His family was here every night and wheeled Don up and down the halls to give him a break from the Health Center. As long as he could, Don responded to the residents here when they spoke to him and his family. I am glad he is at peace, but I miss him and the rest of the family.

To Jane, Teddie, Janis, Linda, Lisa and David: So sorry to hear of Don's passing, he was such a great guy, wish we could be there to give you hugs! Are thoughts and prayers are with you today and always! Love, Joyce and Matt

Keeping Don and all the Lloyd Family in my prayers as they journey through this difficult journey together. You all took such wonderful care of Don. You were an inspiration to me and others here at Friendship Village. Rest in peace, Don.

We worked on projects together for over 50 years and talked about everything under the sun. He was a hard worker and made every step count while framing. We also spent hours discussing the splitting of fire wood, which seemed to be a good stress release for both of us. Memories from over the years still run through my mind while working on projects now. It was great having him be part of my construction and building life those memories will continue and be shared with others.

Dear Jane and family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Don was a very special man with many talents. He was considered one of the best "framers" in th house building industry. In fact, our house across the street from Don was one of the last houses he framed toward the end of his career. Don and Jane were great neighbors and he will be missed. He was a very soft-spoken man and very easy going. He will be missed by many who really knew him. Love your Neighbors Jim and Helene Lenfield
