Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lunde - For years I have looked in the Stanford Magazine hoping to see updates on what Dr. Lunde was doing. Just today, in anticipation of the Stanford Reunion, I decided to do a web search for him, and saw this. I am very behind in sending my condolences - I loved working for him when I was an undergraduate and getting to drive his Mercedes convertible! He was wonderful and fun-loving and smart. I decided to go into medicine and not law because the lawyers always looked silly in...

Marilynn and boys, We are so glad you sent us the notice of Don's death as we had no idea. All too soon but what a legacy he has left!! We always enjoyed his company and his many stories and will cherish his memory. Our love to you, Judie and Alan Pierrot, Fresno

Dear Mrs. Lunde,

I love Dr. Lunde for being the
the best and the most knowledgeble person I ever knew in my whole life, and for being the best role model I have ever known.
I truly miss him with all my heart
and he will for always be in my thoughts and prayers, because he along with God have helped me be in the position I am in now, and I will forever love Dr. Lunde for the rest of my life.

Love always, Moriah Shining Dove Snyder
......the best friend I ever...

Dear Marilynn,
I offer you my deepest sympathies.
Don and I were first cousins. Although we did not see each other for too many years, I so enjoyed keeping up with him and your family from your Christmas letter.
I hope the many beautiful memories you have, will sustain you in this trying time.

Dear Marilyn: I am so sorry for your loss of wonderful Donald. I am his high school classmate from Washington High School in Milwaukee, and have fond memories of seeing you both at the last reunion. I lost my husband last year.
A friend from Menlo Park who went to your church informed me of Don's passing.
All the best to you.
Dolores Shapiro

Dear Family of Dr.Lunde I have been a patient of Dr Lunde I was going to a appt. with the Dr. today Dec. 27 when I learned of your loss. I only knew the Dr. for a short time But, I knew he cared about me just a common person. I really looked forward to my sessions with him. Dr. Lunde took me on as his patient when many others would not.I was honored to know him. James Morley.

Dear Marilynn and family,
As you know, for me Don was the most special brother anyone could have. Even though I am far away, I miss him terribly. He was "one of a kind" and that was the very best. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marilynn & Family:

Diane and I are extremely sorry for your loss. Dr. Lunde was a most wonderful individual and was loved by everyone he touched. He was a most dear mentor to our daughter (Moriah)who loved listening to him and enjoyed working for him. I remember when I used to go over to his office and he would tell me about you, his sons, and his early days in Palm Springs. If there is anything Diane and I can do please let us know.

We will miss him very...

Marilyn and family
I have known "Dr Don" for four years and had many hours of sharing with him. It was obvious he was a devoted husband anf father as well as an exceptional physician. I will truly miss him and thank God for my being able to share him however briefly.
