Not sure what to say?

My condolence to your loss of beloved father, friend and family member. To me, a great loss of Lifetime Mentor. Prof. Lynch, I will miss you for the rest of the way I am facing on.

To the Lynch Family, Friends and relatives, May my best friend, companion and soul mate rest in peace and without pain. I miss Don but I know he is not suffering anymore. He fought a hard battle the last 2 years, especially the last 6 months. My sympathy goes to his family and friends. Dorothy Cuse

Dr. Lynch was one of my favorite professors in the mid-1970s at UAF. Even though I was an Education major, I identified more with the Geography department. I ended up taking 32 credits in Geography and was active in the Geography Club as well. I miss you every moment of everyday!!!You were/are my hero, my grief is unbearable as your were the only family I have ever known. LOVE YOU DAD, we will meet again someday in the Alaskan geographical side of God's kingdom. Please let it be a marine (not continental) climate:) Dad, I love you!!!! You were my morale compass; my hero; my best friend; and the wind that was always in my sails. XOXOXOX Lesley Brianne Elizabeth Alice Lynch.

I am saddened to hear of Doc's passing. I enjoyed all of the classes I had with him, and over time he went from teacher, to mentor, to friend. His long distance email commentaries will be missed.

Sean and Lynch Family, I'm very sorry to hear of Don's passing. I was proud to be a fellow College Rotarian, for a time, and get to know this amazing gentlemen. He lived well and made a difference. And his memory will live in you. Best wishes during this difficult time. Jay and Molly Lewis

I had the honor of taking several classes from Dr. Lynch in the early 80s. He was one of my favorite teachers and had a great sense of humor. RIP Dr. Lynch.

I was sad to read about Dr. Lynch's death. He was always one of my favorite professors. He was certainly an original and I will always be grateful to having so many interesting classes with him.
