To Pat and other loved ones of Don's,
I wish to express my sincere condolences for your loss. I knew Don through his old house, which he loved,and the Historic Preservation Commission. He was a principled and dedicated person you could count on. I really admired his devotion to our community, and its past. We will sorely miss him, as will the township.

I would like to offer my condolences to Patricia and the rest of Don' family and friends. I knew Don only briefly through our participation in the Thornbury Township Historic Society, where we were striving to preserve the Squire Cheyney Farm and keep it in public hands for the benefit of all. His contributions and friendly spirit will be greatly missed.

Don was a treasured friend and a worthy member of Thornbury Township's Zoning Board. His insight and contributions to all of Thornbury's boards will be dearly missed. Don had a wonderful sense of humor and an enviable sense of duty and purpose that served our Township well. He often arrived at Zoning Board meetings on one of his beloved motorcycles. He always kept our discussions short and meaningful. Don was a generous friend and had a charming way of disagreeing when necessary. He truly...
