Not sure what to say?

I cannot begin to describe how heavy my heart is right now with out you Don, but knowing you are with our Lord is My greatest comfort. I appreciate all the support from my family, Grace Community Church of the East Valley and the host of people who have stood by us in this difficult time.

Dad thanks for all the great times. I share all the adventures with people and they see what a great Dad you were from Wyoming to Alaska to driving a tractor in BC to Christmas break in Barstow (Dinner @ Astor bunger) to planes in the back yard to looking for gold on the hill with Donny on the end of a rope or you and me in a canoe you made life great and I can never thank you enough for that I am blessed to be your son.
, Dad I love you and thanks Lindsey Maddock

I only met Don a couple of times when they visited in Oregon. A friend posted that he had a great sense of humor. Gayle posted, I cannot count how many times we said "oops, sorry dad" . I can hear her saying that...and how much joy that would of brought Don during his last days. Even in his last days on this earth, his loved ones still enjoyed a laugh.

Betty-You and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers,

I will miss my Dad everyday, but especially those times when I need him to help me figure something out, or watch the DiamondBacks play. We did get to see the opening game this year and he smiled as we beat the Padres. He was a great man and an inspiration to me.

Our Condolences to Don's family.. I had the honor to know and work with both Don & Don jr. within the airline industry for a number of years. God Bless Bill & Pam Hefty

Gayle, We celebrate his life with you.
We had the priviledge to meet your dad and mom when we were in the Phoenix area and we got to enjoy his work of art, the RV when you lived in Oregon. May you all be comforted and blessed.

My greatest condolences to the Maddox Family. Don truly was a special man. They opened their home to me (a stranger at the time) when my son went to college there in Phoenix for a few days. I could definitely see the work of God in them both. I think of them often when I visit my son. May the peace of God be upon the Maddox/Cohen family.

Donnie and Family,
Soon only the good memories will remain. It was my honor and pleasure to work with Don on the 737 overhauls for America West Airlines. It was Don's delight to come up with something that we had never heard of before. He was truly an inspiration to us all and will be missed sorely.
