Don was truly one of the good guys. It was an honor and privilege to work with him on a number of arms control issues in the 90's. He was greatly respected in both the policy and intelligence communities.

I did not know Don very well as I was a latecomer to the TCBA baseball league, but from what I've heard and read....he will be missed.

Don was the most accomplished, organized, and punctual person I have been associated with in the last thirty years. Strong of opinion, yet always shared his ability to look at a challenge from all sides and viewpoints. He will be missed.

Don, aside from your incredible professional expertise at both ACDA and State, I will always fondly remember our hallway discussions about the live theatre. You will be fervently missed. Prayers and blessings to your family.

Don was a person that you would always remember for his humor and intensity. A truly unique man. His loyality to country was never in question. I'm glad to have known him.
