Not sure what to say?

It's been almost a year now and I still think of Dutch regularly. Guess I always will. I imagine many who knew Dutch could say that. That is proof he was one of a kind, in a good way. Always in my heart, big guy.

While I called Dutch my boss during the late 70's, I also considered him my friend. He was great in character and always treated me and his staff fairly. I had so much fun working at Dutch's and when it was my time to move on, he was gracious with his support & encouragement. He was loved by his customers alike. I am sad that now I have moved back to Oklahoma I won't have the opportunity to see him and introduce him to my family. So many wonderful memories.

I knew Dutch when he was at Dutches Club in Norman , Those of us that went out for a late night smack will know Dutch would order the left or right side of a menu at a fast food , and remember his food no matter what was the best.I remember the fudge he made for the Chocolate festival , he always wanted to hear a George Jones song ,,,,,,,, But ,, Dutch Thank You for all the memorys I will never forget all the fun we had , and one more thing Dutch even went to some on my sons T Ball games...

i worked with Dutch for 4 and a half years at Auto Plus he was a good man great friend and forgot more then i will ever know he will be truly missed

Dutch was one of the smartest people I have ever met. I first met him in 1987 as a customer in Busch's restaurant where I was a bartender. On talking, we found we shared a love for fried green tomatoes and it was a wonderful friendship from that point on. He was someone I could always talk to and he would have a logical answer for my silly question. I was so happy when he met Chris and saw how happy they were. I'll miss his e-mails and just knowing he was around. I feel lucky I had him...

I worked with Dutch daily for 10 years in Norman and we had a lot of good times. I feel like I've lost a brother. I'm going to miss you, Dutch.
